We’re looking for boys who want to have fun and learn new things. We’re looking for New Scouts!
Cub Scouting means "doing" The Cub Scout motto is “Do Your Best” and everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have boys doing things. Through fun, age-appropriate activities, the boys achieve the aims of Scouting:
Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging. What Cub Scouts Do: · Learn skills like taking care of the planet, how to survive in the wilderness, team sports, safety, putting on skits, what to do in an emergency · Earn awards and recognition for the skills you learn · Take field trips, like camping & sleepovers · Help our community through volunteer activities · Make friends and be part of a team through Den and Pack meetings · Do cool stuff at home with your parent(s) Pack 43 2008 Events: · Pinewood Derby - Scouts design, build, paint and race wood cars for the Pack Championship · Campouts – Overnight camping for boys & parents: tents, hiking, ghost stories & s’mores · Skit Night – the Dens try to out-do each other to present the funniest skit on a theme · Sleepover at the Franklin Institute (tentative) – an optional Winter Saturday night activity · Blue and Gold Dinner – Family pot-luck dinner celebrates Cubs crossing over to Boy Scouts · Memorial Day Parade – The Pack marches with pride in uniform down Nassau St. · Pumpkins! Pumpkins! Pumpkins! – wacky Fall activities, including bowling pumpkins · Game Night – Dens organize games of skill for the rest of the Pack · Cub Klondike – the scouts pull their Den’s sled from station to station , gathering gold nuggets in a scouting and citizenship trivia quiz

How it works: · Cubs belong to a Den of 4 to 8 boys in the same grade · Dens meet once a month to work toward the achievements and awards · All the Dens come together for a Pack meeting once a month · Parents volunteer as either Den Leader, to assist the Den Leader and/or to assist in a Pack Activity during the year · Cubs and parents work together at home on other activities and achievements Who is in Cub Scout Pack 43? Pack 43 is open to all boys attending Princeton area public, private and parochial schools. Dens are organized in the following ranks:
How much does it cost? The registration fee is $65/scout (cash or check only, please)
How does my son join Pack 43?
Come to our Round–up meeting on Tuesday, September 29 at 7:00pm at Littlebrook Elementary school on Magnolia Lane. We’ll have some displays of things Cub Scouts do, parents for you talk to about the Pack and car races for your son.
