Blue and Gold Dinner

The B&G Dinner is Sunday Mar 7th at 5:45pm in the Stuart Country Day School cafeteria [Den 3 is doing the setup at 4:30]. This is an important annual event, please arrive promptly so that the activities can start on time.

Winter Camp-In: Philadelphia Zoo!

We had a blast, with 60 people in the Tree House at the Zoo! If anyone has pictures they'd like to post email Per Kreipke with details about where to find them online.

United We Serve Project

South Brunswick Public Library and the Cub Scouts respond to the President's Call for Community Service!

Working with the South Brunswick Public Library, Cub Scout Den 5 of Princeton Pack 43 has organized a volunteer project for kids 9-12 yrs old at the Library. The program is open to the Cub Scouts, and to their friends and siblings within the above age range. The work is conducted under parent supervision.

Adopt-A-Shelf Project

Each child is assigned a shelf. They "own" their shelf through the school year and are responsible for their upkeep - they will conduct weekly reviews of their shelf to make sure that books have been filed correctly and that the shelf looks orderly. This activity is called "shelf reading" in Library parlance.

The parent(s) can set their own schedule for this work. The expectation is that each child will visit their shelf about once a week. The program will run through the school year. At the end of the school year, the library will recognize the children's work with a certificate indicating the number of volunteer hours worked (1/2 hour for each shelf in each visit).

See the steps for maintaining your shelf.

Fall Campout was cancelled

It was an unfortunate weather front that forced our plans to change but we'll be looking for a replacement event!
