We're Looking for New Scouts!

New scouts are welcome to join our pack anytime during the school year. We invite all new scouts and their parents to join us at a Pack Meeting, where they can learn more about scouting and to register. You can find out when our next pack meeting is on our Pack Calendar

Check out the Pack 43 FAQ and have a look through the rest of the site.

When Can Boys Join Cub Scouts?

Boys can begin Cub Scouts in first grade. In fact, first grade is the best time to start! The activities are fun, the boys learn skills and the scouts and their families get to know each other well as they rise through the ranks. However, boys don't have to start in first grade, any boy in grades 1 through 5 can join the pack.

A scout's rank is based on his grade. The Cub Scout ranks are:

Tiger

(1st Grade)
Tiger Scout

Wolf

(2nd Grade)

Bear

(3rd Grade)

Webelos 1 & 2

(4th & 5th Grade)
